Host Adaptors are the means of facilitating the iButton® to talk/interface with a PC, Electronic Point of Sale, or any Application Specific Electronic Controller.

Typically where volume is involved the function is integrated and included in the Motherboard of the actual System but not in every case.

The DS9097U-009# matches with any RS232 Serial Port and the DS9490R with any USB Port. These in turn interface with a RJ11 Socket to a bespoke Reader/Probe
having a matching Plug.

The YSL9490RMAG is exclusive to IMAC Electronic Solutions and has the USB Adaptor and Magnetic iButton® Reader/Probe integrated into one unit. This connects
directly to a PC Port or via an extension Cable.
